Detroit GP, F1 Spanish GP, & NASCAR at Gateway
Add Flava Flav into the mix and you have a hell of a weekend!
Weekend Racing Recap
So much was going on this weekend: Detroit GP, Spanish GP, and the Enjoy Illinois 300 at Gateway.
Detroit GP
Indy took on Detroit this past weekend. They also integrated the Motown Merge on pit road which was a sight to see. Could have ended in total chaos but the drivers did well.
Alex Palou ended up with the win with Will Power in P2. Josef Newgarden finished with a top 10 and unfortunately for Pato O’ward, he walled it to finish in P26.
Tbh the best thing that I saw was Flava Flav riding with Will & Liz Power rockin’ a Will Power tee!
Bringing some extra flavor to #DetroitGP race day!

F1 Spanish GP
The first race of the day was the F1 Spanish GP. I’ll be honest I didn’t watch it. Too early in the morning for me on a Sunday lol. I’m never awake for these races. Anyway, congrats to you guessed it Max Verstappen for P1! Lewis Hamilton comes in second.
Gateway Enjoy Illinois 300
🏁 Rowdy wins another!

Congrats to Kyle Busch for winning the Gateway Enjoy Illinois 300 on Sunday!
Chase Elliot had to sit this one out so Corey LaJoie took his place while Carson Hocevar took his place for Spire. Corey finished 21st.
There was an incident between both Austins (Cendric & Dillon) and Dillon called Cendric out that he was spun on purpose. Obviously, this comes as no surprise that we are going to have more drivers in NASCAR calling out other drivers for possible aggressive driving. We will see what the verdict will be on this one.
